The art of relaxing

Being on vacation is often seen as the ultimate break, the best time to unwind and relax. But then again, it is also the time we run around the city, exploring, get up early, go to bed late, drink more alcohol than usual and suddenly you realize you haven’t been relaxing much after all. Or?

For me the ultimate relaxation is to do what feels good, right then and there. Either if it is to walk around, exploring, drinking coffee and feeling the sun on my face, or go shopping, power nap and blog. And that is exactly what we did yesterday, all of the above.

It was a beautiful day, not a cloud in sight, and even though it was very windy, it felt like summer! So we did whatever we felt like, ending it with a bath, room service and falling asleep around 21:30. Which was perfect, because I was tired after a long night of stomach pain (too much pastries I suppose) and needed to relax. Just what we are here for.

Lots of love from Henriette Sophia
