After a busy work-week, social gatherings, an event and Christmas gathering with our team, my powermode completely shut down this weekend. I woke up late on Saturday, read some, slept, watched a movie, slept, read some more, slept, ate and slept. Basically, slept all day and night. No work, no social media, no nothing! The most unproductive and most needed lazy Saturday in history.
What I came to realise is that I honestly can´t remember the last time I had a day like that. Don’t know if that is good or very sad.
Sunday on the other hand it was back to normal and I started my day with some work, before heading out to meet my dear friend Margit for a coffee before the holidays. We met at Haymarket, my favorite place now during Christmas. The music, the decorations and the whole place just makes me lower my shoulders. A little escape from the hysteria the last week before Christmas. And the decor is pink and marble, do I need say more?
This “last week before Christmas hysteria” actually inspired me to write todays article for Best of You. About how we love this time of year, but how many of us suffer from the tremendous stress that comes with it. But it is possible to carve out enough time to create the joyful holiday we’re all longing for. You can read the article here.
